Community requires trust… Unfortunately there are some terrible scammers out there who prey upon our trust, our generosity, our desire to help, and then attack our reputations after taking everything from us they can steal.
I’ve written a post that discusses the inability of community members to get help when the property owner decides that he can do anything he wants, and makes a grab for everyone’s homes.
I think this problem is terrifically wide-spread, and the difficulty of getting this problem publicized suggests that a lot of people can expect to be robbed and have their reputations smeared and there will be little they can do.
