This blog is dedicated to the hippie in all of us.

A collection of bare feet, sex, drugs, nature, music, community, all things psychedelic, beautiful people and beautiful minds. Brothers and sisters from all walks of life.

A trip back into the communes and concerts of the 60's and 70's and a glance at the gatherings, protests, doofs and parties now and in between.

Feel free to speak your mind here. Let your freak flag fly.

Peace, Love and Harmony.

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t been that active in the recent past. I plan on keeping things rolling from now on.

Just one thing: In the last couple of days I’ve received a few messages from people, and I’d love to answer and publish them but people keep sending them through the submit box.

Please don’t write me asks in the submit box; that is used for actual submissions of pictures or articles and the like. As you can imagine, it’s kind of hard to answer someone’s ask in this manner, so if you want to talk to me please go to my ask box. It’s right above the submit button.

Also, I’ve said it before, but any asks about where to find a commune will be ignored as this question has been answered in exactly the same manner many times before. To conduct a search for the nearest intentional community you can find an extensive list here

And with that, I hope you guys are having a great start to the new year and thank you for all the kind words and support. <3 xox

Hey guys… it says right above my ask box that questions asking where to find communes wont get answered because you can find a link to what you’re looking for under my “Where are all the communes?” link right there on my blog.

It’ll take you to a glorious website that is full of information about established and forming intentional communities and all you have to do is a search!

I’ll be gracious and link it again, but in the future, questions like this one will get ignored because it’s all a little obvious and i do get questions asking this all the time. All the resources are there to find it for yourself.

Find a community near you!

I personally don’t know where any particular communes are but I’ll give you the same answer i give everyone else that asks about finding a commune…

This site has an extensive list of forming and established communes. There is a search function that you can use to make finding this easier.

Go forth and search! I hope you find something that takes your fancy!

I believe you’ll find a good list here. It’s a start, anyway.

They all have saved their entire lives to start a commune and have put my boyfriend and I in charge of the very early stages of the process. I'm wondering if you know any resources that would be of value to me, or any open-heart spirits that would welcome me contacting them? Peace & Love <3

Oh wow. That sounds amazing. Unfortunately i don’t have much in the way of resources, save for a few links that might help give you a general idea of what to consider.

First off, here is a community list for California. It might be of some help if there are communities near you that you could perhaps visit and talk with some of the people there.

This site might also give you an idea on the fundamentals of how you may wish to run things as details for each community include Population, land and buildings, government, food, labour and money and social factors.

Eg:

Also, i’m not sure if you’re looking at spending any money, but there are a bunch of books you might find helpful. They seem to be reasonably priced.

This site seems to give a good overview of some things you may need to consider.

Steal this wiki

And finally, if there are any of my followers out there that think they can lend a hand and some knowledge, or can direct them to someone else who can, then please get in contact with http://pumpkinflavored.tumblr.com/

I’ll be keeping this under the ‘Love’ section of this blog so it doesn’t get lost, and people can see it and help you if they are capable.

I hope that you can find the information you need and are successful in starting up this community!

Positive vibes being sent your way. Peace and love <3

There are plenty of active, established and forming communes today.

You can check out a detailed list here where you can find information about even becoming a part of these communities.

I mean, it's clearly not a matter of rolling in the dirt, splattering paint on myself, and dancing around a campfire with a tambourine. Who are the people in these photos, and where are they? It's beautiful. Thank you.

Thank you :)

Most of the recent pictures i have been posting are from various Rainbow Gatherings around the globe. France, Italy, Germany and different places around the U.S.
